Same contents two sites + Adsense

Hi, I am trying to understand adsense and other matters. If I have two sites with different names but both using almost the same contents, and an adsense campaign on both sites with different keywords, will adsense/google allow this or penalise me for same contents on more than one site.

 

Same content? Goodluck with SEO...Duplicate content = 0 Search Engine Results.

Is there any guidance on how much of the same makes it the same contents as far as SEO is concerned??

 

I meant to add, is the same words but in a different layout considered to be the 'same'

 

How "same" is the same?

Consider two different newspapers each running the same news wire story on the front page -are they the same? No, because the two newspapers' front pages will also contain other stories that are completely different from each other.

That maybe the solution you need to approach for your two sites - they can be on the same theme - but they should differentiate the specific content. Otherwise just keep one site and concentrate on it exclusively.

 

Also adding duplicate contents and placing adsense is a violation of their tos right.

 

If the content is identical you will get penalized by adsense with near zero earnings

 

No guidance whatsoever. You may want to think about hiring someone for content or just taking the time to write different articles on the same subject.

I wish Google would offer more advice/information about SEO, but...I guess it would make it much easier for everone else too eh?

What would be your thoughts on one site only but with 2 other names/url,s being directed to that one main site.
Would that satisfy SEO & adsense.

 

what u will get, u will put ur efforts for marketing ur two sites twice but on the other hand if u will have two sites with two differnet niches u will see better result.

Note:
No one can say that adsense has no relation and u will not banned. just GOD and ADSENSE knows. but in SEO it will create very bad impact on ur site. U r not doing a good job, just try to sell one website and focuse on another and if u need many sites than go for another niche

 

That is content duplicate so change soon as possible.
