Same Content on all sites...

    Please help me out..if I have the same merchant description on all my 3 sites, will this affect google?:confused:

    I have 6 domains, they are all coupon and deal sites, I was thinking of having just the same merchant/stores in all of them, is this advisable?

    If the descriptions are short, it should not make or break your Google standings if the content around them is different on each page.

    However, if the pages that contain the content are very similar and then the merchant descriptions are exactly the same, too, you may be playing with fire - it would be best to rewrite it.

    I'm no Google algorithm expert, but I know enough as a content writer to know that unique content is ALWAYS best, period.
