Does it have smart pricing like adsense?

I'm not sure how the pricing works. I don't see where people with products can sign up to advertise, so I don't understand where the ads are coming from. In other words, there is no Adwords program that we can go and learn about "the other side" of the business.

I will say that the pricing is higher than Adsense, although you tend to get a lower CTR because you're only showing one product.

Not that they have told, why not just try it and see if you earn more? you can have them running together with adsense if you set it to non-contextual, which is now the default (and possibly disable the search tab). Run it for a few days and see if you make more or the same as before, I doubt less is an option :)

Might try it on a smaller site, do they actually pay and how often do they pay?

Aww, I don't use paypal, wouldn't want to withdraw the same money 2 times anyway.

Might give them a try, still deciding. Adsense huge drop in revenue, ypn not approved yet, other networks doing worse. How much worse is the CTR using chikita? Because my CTR is already horrible in adsense.

Mine is better than with adsense, but it all depends on how good you are at picking products.

And this is purely products? Can't choose stuff like credit repair? Do you konw if they are paying more based on product or merchant?

Only products as far as I know, I kind of agree, with that kind of site maybe adsense is better suited, but then again - if your visitors have bad credit, maybe they are the type that is easily tempted by some flashy products. You won't know before you've tried.

No idea if click value is based on product or merchant.

It's not that type of site, was just asking as an example. I might try it if adsense can't recover after a week.

    7-8 = 10 cents/click
    8-9 = 6 cents/click

can it get at worst? looks like i'll be signing up for chitika a lot sooner than i thought.

    UPDATE:
Getting even more WORST. I am switching over to chitika, I won't lose visitors for a penny each!

It would have taken you less time to sign up than it has to ask us all these questions...my site was approved in less than two days, and that was over a weekend.

If you want to see if it has stuff for your keywords, try it out on one of my sites:

    http://www.thebargaingarden.com/?postid=8

The tab on the far right is a search box, and you can see what sorts of ads would show for your keywords.

Yeah but if I decide to not use them from the information obtained here, I have one less company to worry about for having my personal information. It's just that I see so many people talking about it that got me curious.

Just noticed this little thing in their FAQ, they must know what Adsense users hate the most :D

Today's revenue for my main site seems to be back to normal. But all my other site's revenue, which accounts for the other 30% dropped over 70%, WTF??? I hate this crap, it's either one or the other, they're practically asking us to set up corporations and open more accounts!

WOW it looks like complaining in this thread helped! All sites are back to normal now, having a record day!
I signed up for chitka yesterday, glad I decided to hold off on it for one more day. Anyone else getting back to normal levels?
