Hello, Need some advice from u guys.. I have a site with about 30 unique articles in my niche. can i use the same articles and submit to article directories or social sites like hubpage, squido, digg, etc? what are advantages and disadvantages of doing so? would u mind to suggest the better ways (if my above intention is not good one)? thanks
Hi Eastern, Many people say that as long as the articles have been on your site for a while and indexed by the engines, then your site is recognised as the original owner of the content. If this is true, any submissions elsewhere will be considered duplicate content, but should not harm your original content on your site and not harm your ranking. Supposedly, the engines recognise duplicate content from the first paragraph. So, if respin the first paragraph or add a new intro then this should also avoid any duplicate content concern. As far as Squidoo is concerned, I use the intro box for a fresh intro and then break up the content into separate text boxes with other stuff in between these boxes. Hope that helps, Sam
