Hi guys I am doing experiments to find which countries click rate is good. For this I choose Insurance niche. What I did is I created 6-7 text ads and 6-7 graphic ads and then copied same ads and keywords into 3 different campaigns. The difference between all campaign is countries and cpc. Here is Campaign # 1: USA/Canada > cpc 15 cents Campaign # 2: UK, Germany, Australia, France, Spain > cpc 10 cents Campaign # 3: 10 other European countries > cpc 5 cents I forward this traffic to my parked domain where I can see each click from each country. I don't get too much clicks from search engines but from content networks I get clicks but not from Campaign # 1. The question is "Is this okay to use same ads, same url, same keywords in 3 different campaigns in same account"? Will AdWords let these ads run as normal or do some trick to stop some ads? BTW I am getting impressions from all ads and clicks from Campaign 2+3. Please give your opinion? GCS
There's nothing wrong with that - they're not competing with each other, or double-serving as they are clearly targeted at different regions. I've always done it like that when I've had ads running across different regions, makes it easier to monitor and budget
Thanks, but what if I add all countries of campaign # 2 into campaign # 3, then same countries will be double in both campaigns. Will this serve or not? GCS
Why on earth would you do that? The ads will show from one campaign, not both. The one with the best ctr / Quality Score will show. The other will be ignored.
