I have an AdSense ad that for my blog posts shows once in the middle of the text and also once in the sidebar of the post page. Now, do I have to create 2 separate ads with different IDs to display them on the same page, or can I use the same ad ID and place it twice on the same page?
what dyou mean by ID? you've got two pub IDs? i'm not sure though if that's possible. i usually have three ad boxes in mysite and sometimes the boxes displays same link ads.if this is what you mean then you're not the only who experienced it.
I mean that I created a text ad and now I have the same text ad with the same ad ID and code displayed in 2 different spots on the same page but mostly with different links. Is this allowed by Google or I have to create separate ads with the same dimensions if I want them to be on the same page?
I think you are talking about the adsense code, not the adsense ID. Well, both of them are fine, you can use either the same code or create a new code. The only thing need to concern is you can only have maximum 3 text/image ads unit at one page
OK, thank you for the info. Yes, I have 1 image and 2 text ads on one page. I just did not know if I could reuse the code for the text ad so that it appears twice on the same page or had to create separate ads.
