Hello!

I believe this is the first time I will introduce myself on these forums. I am somewhat the type to be around on the forums when it suits my needs.

I am pleased to meet people and have already found one person to create 2 beautiful logo's for me. So life is good!

A little bit about myself:

I am 27, almost 28 this year (getting old by the looks of it), a South African female and lived most of my life in Pinetown, just outside Durban in South Africa. Turned 17 and lived in Durban, till I found someone to share my life with and relocated to the UK in 2006. Since then I have lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne and currently I work part-time for a hotel chain here in the City and on the outskirts of the city.

What interested me about this forum?

The diversity of creative individuals and people interested in making money. Sure that interests me, but I am somewhat of a hobby-ness person (yes, I do make up my own words ) and find internet marketing a very interesting area to study. I have been around since 1999 on the internet and watched through the years as internet marketing progressed. Yup- I was only 18 when I developed an interest in Internet Marketing and in those days the internet didn't even have 1/50 of the information available today to people. I remember when I had to perform some research on a subject, and it was almost unheard of and now several years later...you have thousands of pages dedicated to the topic.

Only in 2001 did I actively start to do some research on internet marketing techniques, and subscribed to tons of newsletters. I still have emails in my inbox from some of the early guru's when they first came onto the scene. It's quite amazing.

So here I am, but as I said, internet marketing is a hobby... what interests me more is Digital Art, Anime,Games etc.

I have been a freelance writer (when I put my mind to the task and can be bothered to check my grammar and sentences) for some websites in the past and wrote gaming related articles of interest. At one point I had a digital magazine going, but then through a series of unfortunate events I had to go back to South Africa because a family member passed away and had to leave the project. I never took it up after that again.

Overall, that is all I can say about me.
