Buying Salsa Logo + Bottle Design

Hey DP'rs,

This is what will need to be done:

Now That's Salsa is the name. We want a pepper along with the name.. but it needs to be stylish. This will also be going on the salsa bottles themselves, along with a mild, medium, or hot bar, which we also need designed.

For the hot, medium, mild etc, we were thinking about a sort of volume bar like on windows, and the top of the bar is hot, the bottom mild, and then the bar can be moved to the middle for medium. If you're confused just let me know and I can draw up an example.

For the label on the can/bottle, we were thinking a sort of torn paper look, with the name and pepper logo on it, then the salsa hotness bar next to that.

Send or post your ideas and I'll see which one is the best. Hoping to get this pretty quickly. Price isn't set but this seems pretty easy for skilled designers so nothing too expensive hopefully.

Sorry but $20 is a bit pricey. Most designers can do this rather quickly. Although I'm not limited on cash, I think that may be a bit high in my honest opinion.

Sorry to confuse,

These are not 2 seperate designs. The same logo will be used for the bottle and the website. Therefore, you won't have to design 2 logos.

The plan is to mainly get this designed for the cans of salsa.. nothing too fancy but stylish and nice. The logo will then be used later on which I can just take it out of the illustrator file etc.

$20 is still high to you for a logo that can make you $$$$ back ? why don't you look for a FREE design then. lolz

 

I'm sort of looking at $15 and under range hopefully. This isn't for me so I don't want to spend a ton on it.

It's ridiculous that any designer would work for that kind of budget. $20 too pricey? That's just demeaning really, I tend to look down on designers who will work for that.

 

It's a simple design, just a pepper, company name and a hotness bar. So no, I'm not going to pay $30+ for that when I can do half of it myself really.
