Sales / service Tax on Adsense Income : india vs rest of the world.

I am an indian, earning a nominal income from Google Adsense. (estimated earnings of about 1500 USD this year).

My auditor advised me to put this income as a mere "income from website" to avoid getting into service tax muddle. Also services exported to foreign country is usually exempted from excise / service taxes.

But any selling of online space for advirtisement is service taxable in india.

So I would like to know whether
a) other indians are paying service tax on this income?
b) People from other countries pay any tax other than income tax on this income? (VAT / service tax / sales tax ..etc)..

 

I'm paying Malaysian income taxes on my Adsense earnings being 95% of my total income.

 

Any compatriots care to share your opinion?

I guess he wants to say that adsense is 95% of his total income.
