I think that I am going to create my own sales page for my new e-book which will have a major launching in the next few weeks. However, I wanted to know from experienced publishers if they used templates for sales pages on the internet, or if they were made from scactch.

    Thanks

I also make mine from scratch. I advice you to keep them clean, simple and informative, I don't think fancy sites compel potential customers to buy - on the contrary!
They want easy access to as much information as possible on the item or service they are considering. ;)

I just have no background in html. I am fine writing the sales page, and I would rather write my sales page. It's the techy stuff that I need help with. Do you think I should use a template?

    Thanks

Yes, by all means, use a template. The tables are already laid out nicely in front of you so you won't have to waste your time rearranging them. Well, at least that's how I do it.
