Im new to CB but ive noticed that almost all the pages have this WAIT GET FREE INFO bla bla by subscribing to email. Isn't this like killing someone's hard earned traffic to the page? Because buyers will run to their email and read it out and after clicking to the link from their page and buying we wont get the commission. How does the email subscription help the affiliate?
It's such a shame that this misconception is so common. The email opt-in list will improve conversions. Many good vendors will use them. As the person got there through your hoplink, your cookie is already on their computer. You will still get credit for the sale so long as the vendor is not underhand i.e. so long as the vendor doesn't use their own hoplink but just uses the regular domain name. Myself I don't run these email lists due to this misconception that so many affiliates think its a way to steal commissions, even though it would actually increase conversions. Hope this helps.
