    Hi Boys and Girls!

I want a Sales Page for an "Australian Wholesalers' List" product that I created.
It has to be in the same spirit and quite similar to this:
    http://tinyurl.com/yk7el4h

    another less similar one is:
    http://tinyurl.com/yjdfna3

    The pseudonym is: Emily Taylor.
The product is: Unique Australian Wholesalers List !

I want you to figure out a visible but less intrusive way to add an opt-in box.
(don't worry about the drop-down box- i will do it). Testimonials with small pictures, a "boxy" table with the products in the list like she has, etc. etc. etc. etc. ALL "elements" and fonts (underlined, yellow highlighted, etc.) HAVE to be there ! I want a complete solution excpet for the opt-in drop down and the copy of course.

*** It has to be XHTM/CSS and valid! ***

I will Paypal $200 for the first choice and $50 for the second, so people have an incentive.

Conditions (do not follow at your own risk!):
    1) I am tired of designers who have no experience in Squeeze/Sales pages but claim to do so. You should have experience.
    Send me your portfolio!
    2) Do NOT disappear! I need a 24hr response period. No weekends, no girlfriends/boyfriends, no excuses. If you are in a comma then too bad!
    3) I reserve the right to refuse a first place if less than 3 people submitted a design and a second place if less than 5.
    4) Obviously this is for the design and coding, I have the copy and will include it later. For now you should use Lorem Ipsum.
    5) PM me if you have less than 5 iTrader

I am a VERY reasonable and not too picky person but if you are a mediocre designer who is here for a quick buck please do not submit! I am looking for a long term relationship with a PROFESSIONAL as I have 3 more projects waiting!!

Let the contest begin and good luck to the best !
    Post here or PM.

    Thanks in advance!
    -S-

    Questions.

Testimonials must be in a box (understand that) but "with the products in the list like she has, etc. etc. etc." What do you mean by that?

Too scary to hear this. Might be a risk for me. :D

I interested to submit mine. I do have experience in sales page/minisite design & coding (sales page wordpress coding also).
Sample of mine. Here. (just look at the design, ignore the text)

Basically, there is a table with the numbers of wholesalers in the list per product category.
Can you come up with a different and better design?

Risk: I said i reserve the right. If i like your design and i cooperate with you then I would love to take yours even if you are the only one. But if there are e.g. two people and both suck then I am sorry I can say no.
If you trust your abilities you have nothing to fear! If your example is the only sales page you ever did and in a foreign language then ... it's up to you.

    Hope to see u around!

"Current Australian Wholesalers Listed, As Of
    7th October, 2009..."

    Thanks guys! Keep'em coming !

@mantero: Not sure. Thats where experience with sales pages comes in handy! :) In sales pages you dont only look for "pretty" elements, you look for elements that convert! depending on the position of the optin (all else being the same) you can increase conversions by 20% !
Fast answer: If you cant think of a better place then under the header but preferably above the fold is ideal i believe.

@Itaydr: Pitty! Are you sure you have no buddies that you could cooperate with as a group project? PM me some previous work or a mockup. But again, unless your work blows me away, i prefer a turn-key solution.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Buncoh!
-a bit too too dark all over. i suggest the background color to be very light.
-make the top graphic more "alive" (?)

I suggest to give a few mockups, there are millions of combinations on the fonts, colors, arrangements, etc.
If you dont give a few different mockups every time its difficult to guide more.

    Keep'em coming! Anybody else ?
Come on guys!!!! $200 for a sales page is really NOT bad !!! There are for $90-$120 at the warrior forum! Problem is everyone os super packed and postpones it till December.

Opps! sorry mantero, i didnt refresh and miossed your post and therefore didnt comment to yours. Here it is:

Why do you apologize for the headline? For being creative!!!???? This shows professionalism !!! :)
Good work in general but far from what I would have in mind.
I prefer the 1st one but its still a bit far for now.

Overall TOO dark! lol. My mistake since i sent you the second link as an example.
I like LIGHT colors! Make it light closer to hers but with our own individuality.

Also, ease up on the "fancy" fonts on the graphic. No need for glittering stars, etc. A nice simple font with a nice handwritten font for the name: Emily Taylor.

I will send a general comment to everybody in a while - so you can benefit too.

thanks and keep it up! :)

I have a few comments that I hope will make your life easier and guide you towards the right direction.

    - Use Light colors and simple fonts in the top graphic but with a "twist" (e.g. handwritten font for name Emily Taylor, a slanted handwriteen "Best" (... australian wholesalers list)) etc.

    - Add various products (computers, camcorders, iphones, sports stuff, shoes, etc. etc. in the graphic. I see people concentrating on boxes, too many boxes !! lol
Make sure there is a graphical uniquely Australian element. (e.g. a flag in the background/foreground, a kangaroo, whatever.

Do not worry about "Buy now" buttons. I have my own exact idea for the "Add to cart". You will help with CSS when time comes.

    Thanks for your help !

    Pretty good.
Due to the nature of the product we want to show more "abundance". We only have a car and a monitor!lol
Remove the car by the way, this is WHOLESALE! We do not wholesale cars ... well very rich people do! lol
    Smaller objects but more.
Your flag looks like a british flag. Cant distinguish it from australian.

Here is an example of an older design that the desgner could not complete the project but the top graphic and background is not too bad:
    http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/9104/capturepx.jpg

Much better than what I have seen so far.
Notice the fonts!!! I like them. Your new fonts are too "dry".
You also put an image of a guy! This is Emily Taylor !!!

Here is an example of site in similar niche that converts well:
    http://www.salehoo.com/secrets/

It does not have the top graphic that we want but it definitely converts well.
Notice the light colors and nice combination of fonts, etc.
But this is for later to "fill up" the site. For now lets concentrate on the framework!
