sales increase

    Hi to all,
    we have a small business - selling some php scripts, and in april we noticed, that our total incomes increased by 30% :eek: . Actually we did nothing, just improved customer care and customer support.
    So i have a question to all of you. Is good castomer care and support a really great thing for increasing sales? or is it a simple periodical raise? i'm asking cause 30% PLUS to our month incomes is a great add ), but anyway i need to know the reason.

    Good customer service and post sales support is very important to the long term of any business. If you provide a customer with outstanding service they are more likely to tell others about you... word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool

    yes i agree. good custome service will result in customer satisfaction. This will give you lots of benefits
    - return customer - coz they satisfied with your product and service so they will come back again
    - free advertising - they will tell others about your good service and product so you will get more customers
    - brand recognition - your service will be known better, people will rememebr from your service and what satisfaction they got.

    I agree with everyone here. There is a really good book I suggest you read if you haven't already called Raving Fans that emphasize Tom, Ruby and Tradeya's points to a T. Its a quick read. The author is Ken Blanchard. IMO he is one of the best business authors out there.:D

    It’s true, customer care can raise your sale, and it’s the mouth of word publicity!Let me explain you how, if you are satisfied with any service provider you tell your friends so eventually your service providers business increases.
    And let me add, to retain customer is a good sign in long run.

    If your customers are happy they will probably recommend you when someone else needs you, However, if you didn't take good care of them, they are much more likely to tell others about their negative experience.

    In short. Treat your customers like the gold mine they are.:D

    Thats true, take for example web hosting, if you have one bad experiance with a web host post it on a forum, the chances are that people won't go to that web host.
