Yes sales have gone down again its across the board CPA is slow as well, look like we will give CB a break this time.
Conversions go up and down without warning sometimes. The economy really does effect whether people are going to break out their credit card or not. If your sales just suddenly stop completely you may want to make sure you didn't get banned. CB has been known to ban affiliates without warning and not even tell them. Although unless you're spamming or something thats probably not the case.
if they ban me i wouldnt be able to log into my account would i? (dont do anything illegal so shouldnt be banned but jsut like to know) cus im always checking stats rofl.
Same here. In the past years I made around $200 from 1500 hops across various niches. In september there have been days with 1300 hops and ONE sale ($20). If it is not clickbank, then it is the economy.... :-( Getting kind of discouraged.
Shall I make modifications to my landing pages when these pages have generated good no of sales for me in the past ? Shall I skip these 'tried and tested' products and try something new ? Also the no of views is reaaaaaaaly low . I used to get 30-100 at least per article..it's down to around 10-20 views per article. Real sad.
Same thing happened to me dude, Hang in there. Althought I've never had a 0 sales week, but it was quite low for some time after a few $100 weeks. One thing I did was switch up my strategy. My current site promotes upto 10 products I decided to start a new site with just 1 product and lots of targetted traffic. The first day the site already brought in $98. By the way this was a high end poduct, so I only made 2 sales through the site. I'll talk more about this in a full post, but bottom line is what you're doing now isn't working, it's time to switch up your strategy. There's more than one way to make an affiliate sale.
Economy is bad and kids going back to school if you rely on usa customers. This little rut normally lasts only 2-3 weeks. But with the bad economy sales may continue to be weak.
ParthS: Do you mind me asking -- when you set up the site with just one product, did you get your traffic from PPC or from free methods? My sales are down this month also, partially because one of my larger review sites was slapped by Adwords -- I assume because of the affiliate links-- and I'm making the mistake of relying entirely on PPC at this point. I also have some one-product sites and was just curious, just in general, whether you're using PPC to get your traffic.
Post one or two links to some of your articles, I'm curious to read them. It could be that your articles just aren't cutting it.
Well the sad fact is that with so many article marketers out there and tons trying to join the ranks every day what worked a year ago in article marketing doesn't cut it anymore. The good ol days of write article with some decent keys in it...rinse and repeat and watch the sales come in just doesn't cut it anymore.. So then the trend was well then just write more articles..and make up for the lack in traffic..targeting different keys..this has mixed results. The key has more to do with what you do with your articles AFTER it goes live on EA and not about trying to write 50 new ones.
I'm seeing a MAJOR amount of 'Order Form Impressions' but corresponding ZERO sales. In contrast, there's this guy on the other forum who's claimed to have cracked $200/day http://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...y-reached-my-200-day-today-yipee-wow-wow.html Looks like the 'CB slap' affects us affiliates selectively
if you chose to FOCUS half of the energy you spend complaining, on actually SELLING, you could see improvements saying it's all bad creates a self fulfilling prophecy - all will become bad because you spend your time complaining and waiting for it to get bad
Yeah I need to stop reading threads like this, it seriously discourages me. I find myself slacking..... or maybe I should stop reading this forum alltogether?
