Sales going down, but still Holding Up

Alright guys, so haven't don't an update in a while. My original thought was that I'd only update when I achieved my goals, but I thought I was going to achieve my goals much earlier. Anyways, lets start off with the screen cap:

As you can see, I'm still making at least 2 sales per week. I'm doing better than most people on this forum, but not as good as when I originally started.

    - My site gets 10,043 hits per month, majority is free traffic. I haven't done any article marketing for a while. Google loves me, so I'm writing a lot more on my site, and I've noticed a boost in traffic since the past few days.

    - I also realized that there is only a 17% relationship between traffic and sales. I'm not sure how much TARGETED my traffic can get. I sell home fitness products, and I'm getting search traffic for HOME FITNESS and BODYWEIGHT TRAINING related keywords.

    - I need to do something ON-SITE. One thing I've done is reduced the number of products i promote on my site. I've purchase two other domain names, and will start working on other sites, once I get sales back up on this site.

    - If i can figure out a formula, then I can start other websites and have multiple streams of income.

    - Second thing I've been doing is creating informative blog posts with links back to the product. I notice a lot of people going to the order form, but no one's buying.

    - So I'm guessing people are interested in the product, but not sure if the price is worth the product.

Action Steps: Find a way to prove people that the price is worth the product.

It's clear I'm attracting the right customers in terms interest level. But there's something holding them back from actually purchasing the product. I purchased the product yesterday and will blog about the workouts I perform, etc.

    Any thoughts?

How about a video review?. If you've purchased the product or are purchasing it, then take a screen video of yourself arriving at the site, browsing the sales page with your comments then actually buying the product (w/o showing your number of course) and then taking a look at the product inside, what they'll get when they buy etc. That's also the ideal moment for you to mention that if they buy through your site's link, you'll send them a bonus of some sort.

Thanks for tip. I'll try it!

Did make a sale today. Through a post. One of my strategies is to keep all the posts that are making sales on the front page of my blog through the sticky wordpress plugin. I've identified three such posts so far.

    Tips for Improving the Sales:

    1. Make your products meet the demand of customers;

    2. Make your site professional

If you can not achieve these, you should have your site changed.

I can only think of one - Twitter!
Unfortunately, I'm not able to share any info at the moment since I am still on the learning curve myself.
Bet there is lot info on DP if you search for it
    :)

Twitter will certainly bring traffic but conversions are a whole different story. Twitter is notoriously bad for actually converting traffic into sales.

Yeah, as I mentioned traffic is not the issue. The issue is conversions.
