Hello, is there a better piece of software to use than Excel to create charts for forecasting and sales reports? I've got years of data with sales numbers and forecasts and would like to be able to chart it out nicely to check trends and help with forecasting, and am finding MS Excel to be cumbersome and unstable? Any suggestions? BTW, I use a Mac, so something that is Mac friendly would be nice. Thanks.
Not that I know of... I use Excel for most things, because it's not only reliable and stable, I've used it for a long time, so it wouldn't be worth my time to learn a new program. Excel serves its purpose with me, so I'm quite happy with it.
I've never used anything other than Excel. I just can't imagine having so much content that it made the software unstable. I deal with several thousand lines of content in Excel each day, and have never had trouble with it.
Yikes... Excel crashes every time I try to create a new graph. I've never been a fan of it. Oh well, thanks for the suggestions. Maybe the Mac version is just unstable.
