I have no clue if anyone will be interested in what I have to say hear, but if makes sense to me, so here goes (I'm just a business guy though, not a php expert): I run a small business in Seattle, WA providing online advertising solutions to a very niche industry (about 20,000 people do this profession part time and full time). We do pretty well in this niche. My company employs myself, another full time sales guy, 2 part time grunt workers, and a few contracted workers that do part time work as well. I am 23. I want to build a new "finder" site for our niche (with some viral /web 2.0 elements). And I would like to use the ning.com platform, which is in php. I know enough about php to know that I need some help to get my vision of the site turned into a reality. If I can get my vision to fruition, I believe the site will be very successful. I'm looking for someone who would be willing to partner with my company to build this dream I have. Instead of a cash arrangement, I'm thinking of more like a % of revenues. I am a sales guy first. If we can get the site built, I think we could bring in $20,000+ a month within 6-8 months. Myself and our other sales guy can sell this site, we just need someone willing to partner with us to get it done. I've posted some details and found a contractor on GAF for 1K to get this done, but I'd much rather find someone from DP here and work with them longer term, even if it ends up costing me tens of thousands in the long run.
