Sunday night I decided to start on promoting a new niche on Clickbank. Well I looked for a low gravity niche that was below 10 so there was not much competition for this exact product. Also the pay out is not the greatest since the product is paying you 50% of the sale and the sale is only about $20 but who cares its an extra $10 in your pocket. The idea behind this was that since the product is at a low price more users will be willing to buy the product. So last night I built a very nice and attractive landing page in Word Press for the product and wrote 1 article for EzineArticles which has not been accepted yet and one article to place on my site which I hope the search engines will find. Other than that I just joined a forum that is related to my niche and also answers around 10-15 answers on yahoo. From this I have made my first $10 sale. My goal is to have 5-10 sales of my product by Friday night. I will post more on how this comes out so be looking for more posts
Nice work with Yahoo answers. A nicely converting product is great, although one with a better payout may be nicer
Great Job Man! I didnt make my first sale for like 9 days, but now im making a shit load. I bet you will be a successful affiliate marketer
I am not in the game for the quick cash... I rather have cash spread out over a long period of time so I always have at least $50 in my pocket.
the reason I say quick cash is because I dont use answers for backlinks to my site because answers use no follow. So i can't see it being a good long term method. So i just go straight to sales pages when using answers cheers,
Your on the right path. Another method is to actively promote a CB products is using RSS feeds. I won't post my method here but you can test a product and usually have a sale within 1-2 hours if it is a good product with a good landing page. At this point I contact the CB merchant/author and ask for an evaluation copy. If they do not provide a copy then I move on to the next product. This method works about 50% of the time for me. I like to have an evaluation copy to create my own great landing page that is just not a copy of hundreds or thousands of other tips secrets and facts on the product copied from other affiliates landing pages.
Reapr I have followed your advice with contacting the author of my niche and hopefully will receive and evaluation product so I can give a better detailed description about the product in which I am promoting. On the other hand I have also submitted one more article to EzineArticles which I hope will draw in a few hundred more visitors.
IMHO a merchant who can not provide an evaluation copy after you have made a sale or two is not worth promoting as there is probably no long term partnership there or any hope or support. 3 digit days are not that difficult if you have a good product and support from the author or merchant.
Whats the point of telling us this if you aren't going to tell us what the product is? lol jk but good job
