Server is located at offshore location which is in ASIA. This is the reason PING will be high from USA/CANADA and other US close countries. however its normal for hosting website stuff... If hope your query is resolved. Thanks
There is nothing normal about ping times in excess of 300ms.. That's latency that's indicative of either dsl, wireless or satellite. You sure this is not an airtel wireless card in a laptop? No offense, but latencies that high would be unacceptable for just about any application.
This latency is not 400 MS from India. However if you live in ASIA you will get letency of 200-300 MS if you ping our IPs. Yes seems the singtel (singapore) connectivity is having some issues now a days. It will be okay shortly.
That's still nothing to brag about. And FYI, the pings I was doing where from route servers located geographically local to that network, not from the US.
Most of our customers are getting ping in between 200-300 MS. Ping to it 122.160.111.1 & 122.160.25.1 And let me know the results.
