Just some advice, I would be careful with your advertising techniques. Your ad listed under the "What's new" section is against Yahoo's TOS. (hiding the "Ads by Yahoo")

It is very clever placement... but you could get banned if they found out.

Just wondering. Does YPN have the same kind of TOS as Google. If so, the buyer of the site is going to have remove some of the ads because they are hidden in the content of the website to look like games.

For instance, the first what's New game is actually an ad! Is that why the ad revenue is so high??

Sorry, added my two cents before reading the whole thread.

I'm not one to come to this guy's defense but it kills me when I read stupid ass things like this. People, this is why YPN has ad targeting. Let's see... Who's probably playing the most on his Arcade? 16-21 year olds? Who is probably most interested in lower car insurance....... 50 year olds who already have cheap rates???

You're deluding yourself if you think that the revenue produced by that site is because of quality ad targeting.

"Individual Medical... Short term and permanent policies available in most states. Special..." (x2)

"Free Life Insurance... Enter your basic information once, get 5 competitive life insurance..."

"Student health...Compare and buy student insurance. Compare among several insurance..."

"Business Liability...NY and NJ only. Find a wide range of business insurance packages at..."

Those are the ads I got at the top of the page on my first hit to the site. So out of 5 ads, one MIGHT be considered relevant and do you think kids really care about buying health insurance? C'mon.... I don't care that this site is making money-- more power to him-- but let's not kid ourselves that it is due to any other reason than effective ad placement and indiscriminate YPN targeting. No one here (especially those that could afford it) will be fooled by this sort of sale. I say keep the site and milk it while you can.

Like I said, I'm not defending him. I dont know how he makes his money nor do I even care. What I am saying is that people are always quick to jump on sites that have a different ad category displayed on their site for no reason.

Anyone else notice how he has a YPN ad hidden as a link to a game? He's even hiding the "Ads by YPN" message...

He a cheat, liar and a scammer and thats the only reason it's making money ;)

I see there are several threads for this site already so I don't think it will be closed as then a new one will just be started.

I suppose either abondon and ignore this one or respond to the comments made as you may still be able to salvage the sale.

You can always contact Shawn if you don't agree with my position

You're right creepah - hiding links as games to get clicks isn't cheating or scamming, and I'm sure when YPN reviews your site shortly they'll be on your side too ;)

I bet theres 10 people rushing to the bank right now to give you $25,000! :D
