    Revenue Stats:
No ad has ever been placed.

    Forum Software:
    SMF 1.1 RC2
Custom template (themed to accent Moola.com's colour scheme)
Ad management mod installed. (allows you to control ad placement like on VB forums. header, footer, menu, after first post etc)

Ranks #1 for moola invites in Google, MSN and #8 in Yahoo.

First things first. Reason for selling: I'm kind of burned out on playing Moola and I simply don't have the roots or resources to promote the site the way it should be promoted. So far the site has been all organic except for the first few members that signed up were via post exchange here. There were about 8 posts total from that. I had bought a week long ad campaign on the #2 moola site for $2.43, but that site has been down for over a week now. Everything else is legitimate word of mouth.

As you can see the site is unique in that it has almost entirely American visitors (Obviously good for YPN) and the biggest referrer is Google. The site design is semi-unique in that it uses the same layout as the default installation, but the graphics and colour scheme are unique to compliment Moola.com.

Why would I not put up ads? There was another moola fan site called moolapro.com that was unbelievably cluttered with ads so I chose to take the high road and offer a clean forum without the ad-soup to attract members. It worked. I got almost as many members in the first 3 weeks as they did the entire time they existed. They have been out of the picture for a week now, and the new members are steady so now would be a good time to implement the ad module I have installed. It's quite advanced.

I had put up a forum section that has flash games in it, the new owner could easily add more games as they seem to be a minor hit.

The only time I spend updating the site is about 2 minutes a day to check the Moola.com payout amount and post it in the news section and look at the new member stats.

It's an auction and I'll start the bidding at $100. I'm not expecting a lot from the site and obviously am not placing the value on the revenue but rather the solid foundation it is to build a community of. I'll let it run for 3 days or until I see a bid that makes sense.

As always, if you have any questions please ask.

By the way, and don't get angry at me for not actually asking a question or being interested in purchase, but this site works. I got into moola, started losing so went in search for help.

I Googled and found this site very quickly (as referer stats suggest) and found my winning technique on it. I recognized the webmasters name from this forum.

Basically, I'm saying nice site, good luck with sale, and congratulations to whoever buys it.

    :)

How many signups do you get per day.

As for the lack of interest it's a tough sale not being vbulletin. Example if this guy was selling legalstreets as a vbulletin forum I'd have bought it days ago.

    Just saying...

I would say a good average is 6 signups a day. You can see the date members register here to get a better idea.

For what it's worth, VB does have an SMF to VB converter.
