As said in caption, just share your experience instead of searching info on Wiki, Google and Yahoo-Answer.

the reason of the question is past couple of occasions my parents caught and found me drunk. I am a social drinker not hardcore. I had had just one bottle beer.

Now i want to move to vodka so that i can't be caught.

There is a belief that vodka can not be detected.

    What is your experience?

Have you ever drunk vodka? Was your breath reeked of vodka after that?

Have you (being sober) ever figured out someone drunk vodka???

If people know you, (like your parents are going to) they're going to know when you've been drinking. The smell of alcohol is the least of your worries, it's the slowing of motor skills that gives you away. You'll take longer to do common things like answer questions and open fridge doors, people notice this stuff.

And if I remember right, Vodka is one of the more obvious liquor smells. Someone with "Vodka breath" always stands out compared to other drunk breaths.

Do you think that "no colour - no smell"? :) Vodka will make your breath stink. Even the morning after actually you drank it.

    hahahaa funny!! :D

well my nutricionist recommended me that, when Im on diet, and I have a party, and I have to drink something for being polite, I should always pick vodka, less calories, and yes, doesnt smell, at least not as much as other licuors, and get less hangover.

    Is my experience :)

Depends how much your drink and what do you drink it with. Cheaper ones are supposed to stink more as well.
