safest way to sell a domain name without chargebacks ?

    whats the safest way to take payment for a domain name ?

    i want payment by bank transfer or google checkout or paypal but scared of chargebacks or the use of stolen creditcards ?

    is escro used oftern here ?

    There is no 100% safe way of taking money but this is the risk of being in "business"

    Escrow isnt often used but can be a good option but check the T&Cs on what happens if there is a chargeback. If both you and the buyer is in the same country then bank transfers or bankers drafts are safer than most methods. As you are in the UK and if the other person is in the uk too and it is going into a personal bank account then cheques are now much safer than they used to be (I think the new 7 day rules has come into force)
