Safest, Quickest, Genuine way to Purchase a LLL .com

Hello,
I am about to launch a new application of many networked sites and currently the network is unbranded. It doesnt have a name.
Because of this I am looking to purchase a LLL domain name .com TLD.

Can someone please advise on a way to purchase a .com domain name that will yield results which are safe and near immediate. Ie, the whole transaction happening within the next 2 months. I dont want to be bidding on a domain for 5 months only to find out the guy really is just tasting the water on Sedo.

I dont know if this is enough but, the budget is around 4000-12000. Can someone also advise on prices for such domains.

I have one requirement also:
The domain needs to include hopefully, one of these two letters. I or G

and cannot include any of the sucky letters. Q for instance Z maybe, W Vetc...

 

I would also suggest you try namepros.com or dnforum.com and make sure to use an escrow service.

 

It's going to be a fairly large transaction, so use an escrow service. That's the only way you can be sure.

 

I was planning on using escrow anyway I think. I just want to find a seller willing to part with such a domain within a reasonable time otherwise I will probably brand with something I dont want. I like having a LLL domain. Something with I in it, or G.

Since its a gaming network site, G for gaming, or I for interactive. Plus its a vowel.

 

I just found igl.com which is just a parked page. I cant get the owners information. Any ideas?

Well if you're not interested there is no reason to discuss it in detail but a clean sale (not including escrows) would be 6K which is close to my purchase price

I intent to keep it for now, you know prices for LLL.com's raise quickly

 

There are plently of members on NamePros & DNForum that own LLL.com domains & they are always changing hands. As to the prices, check out http://3character.com/priceguide.html for the MINIMUM wholesale prices of those names. If they consist of Premium letters only, expect to pay way more. Also it it is pronouncable.

 

Many owners of LLL.com don't sell their names yet (me too) so don't expect to pay the wholesaler prices you see in 3character (which by the way is a good reference)
