What is the safest payment processor, I want to be able to recieve funds and transfer them to my bank without risk that the person sending me funds will chargeback.

    Cheers

there is no system or payment processor who can guarantee you 100% chargeback free. All you can do is play it safe by verifying your client orders. For ex.

    1. dont ship where billing and shipping address are different
    2. dont accept orders from high risk countries
    3. be wary of surprisingly big orders and you will be asked to ship overnight.

    so on..

No payment processor can stop a buyer doing a charge back thru their credit card company. Some though may be better than others at detecting fraud or stolen cards but I believe that if someone buys with a stolen credit card then it is the processor or card company who eats the expense not the seller.

    How about moneybookers?

NO charge back risk for merchants
We do not pass on charge backs to the merchant but absorb them ourselves. We reserve, however, the right to withdraw this policy without notice for any particular merchant who we determine is not exercising due diligence or is operating in a way which results in higher than normal exposure.

If I'm right doesn't that mean if someone does chargeback they pay off the amount so you keep your cash?

As long as it involves credit cards, there is an avenue for chargeback. Chargeback is a means for customers protection. A means where you have zero chargeback would mean that your customers will have zero protection against you if you do not deliver what you promise.

In business, I believe both parties must be comfortable working with each other in order to enter a contract because by definition a contract is there is a willing buyer and willing seller.

The way to reduce the risk of chargeback is to do your due diligence and only deal with people you are comfortable with.

I prefer e-gold. There are no chargebacks and once you are paid, you stay paid.

E-gold provides no protection for the customers so if the seller does not deliver, the customers would be at the losing end.

Paypal has always been the easiest for me. I never worry about charge backs since I sell legitimate products that aren't out to scam people.

Paypal worked for me too! Not one problem with them so far.

I do check out each order for fraudulent activity tho, especially verifying that the address of the buyer is the same as the location of ip address. If not I call or check out other things to make sure it is legitimate.

There is no match of paypal. With their new system, they are now getting into handling larger customers....with 1000s of transactions per month. I am one of the little ones with 100s of transactions per month.

Probably moneybookers, but I do not know if the client ads $$$ via credit card and then requests a chargeback from the bank..... claiming it's a fake or something (even after CC verification)....
