I'm starting to try out "safelist" advertising as people have been telling me its a great way to get A LOT of opt ins into your business using a lead capture page. So far I joined 14 safelist and after I post to all 14 I'm lucky if I get 5 opt ins. So what is the best way to get GOOD results from safelist. This is something new to me so any help will be great .
Most people are doing the same thing you are promoting thier site on safe list. I never had much luck with them and do not use them.
only thing a safelist is good for is hits most members are webmasters trying to get traffic to there website they have no interest in your website just the credits they get for viewing your page for 15-20secs they probably have 4 or 5 pages open at any one time as well Best thing would be to buy some ads in someones newsletter which is relevant to your website

I agree i think it's just used for the traffic the extra hits to your site i don't see you using this as a good way to market a product/service.
