I am going to sell my website and I was wondering if it's safe to use paypal for the transaction. Is their a way I can make sure that the Payee does not try to take the money back? Thanks
You could not guarantee against a chargeback using PayPal because they do not offer buyer protection if the product sold is not shipped in a manner that generates a shipping receipt. They would treat the transaction as though you had provided a "service," and if you were to suffer a chargeback, the onus would be upon you to prove the buyer got what they paid for. Needless to say, since PayPal would lose the price of the transaction if they covered it for you in that case, they would not be likely to violate their own policy in your favor. Proceed with caution. Neil
I'd forget about paypal and just use an escrow company that will wire you the funds after the sale is made.
ya tell him to send payment as a gift after that create a another account and send money to another account ..................
The fraud customer could grasp your money easily, despite of the delivery of product. Paypal doesnt favor to seller. If customer dispute against a payment you have no way, yes could have some doc for fight but no way.
