Is there a benefit to making my website "safesearch" compatable? Just wondering if getting listed in some of those kid friendly search engines helps page rank. Thanks in advance.

As long as your website is W3C Compliant you should do fine. IMHO the only search engines that really matter is Google, Yahoo, and Msn because smaller search engines are normally feed by Google or Yahoo anyway. Also I wouldn't worry to much about page rank as I have had websites with a pr1 beat sites that had pr6 and pr7 for highly competitive key phrases and I don't really feel like page rank has much to do with where your website will get ranked in the search results.

Thank you. I agree that PR does not seem to matter much as we do very well from an SEO standpoint but only have a couple of pages with any PR at all. However, having no PR drives me crazy and most things I read claim that it is VERY important. One thing that shows it does have some value would be a search of "website". The only things that come up on the first few pages will have your highest PR.
