    Hey

I run a smileys site and if you look at google I rank about 3rd for "smileys"
However if you enable strict safe search [append &safe=strict to query string] then I do not show at all!

All I can summise is that for some reason google thinks my site isnt safe for work. I did recently add some sexy smileys so wonder if that has triggered it?

I have removed any mention of "sexy" from my site though now so hopefully it will return...

Does anyone have any experience with this? Or know what I could do to make google think my site is "safe" ?

    Cheers
    Chris

Anything that will make Google think that your website is about "sexy" it might keep your site from safe search. That include links with keyword "sexy" in anchor tag aswell. Even links from other websites who's content might include sexy might keep your website outta the safe search.

The first part makes sense, but you cannot control how other sites link to you, so google shouldnt take that into consideration when making a site safe or not.

Else I could just generate a bunch of crap viagra links to a competitor in order to make them drop from the rankings!
