Anyone else looking forward to this? I may stay up till 3:30am to watch it live :D Too bad they will only get out opening statements. Sounds like a 3 month requested adjournament will be granted to the defence :( Time to pop some corn :)

Doubt it, Michael Jackson was once famous for good things. Saddam only caused problems. Who would be his character witness

If he lives long enough to survive the trials, I'll be surprised. I'm more interested in the outcome. The bigger question is; how long before the mainstream media tries to rewrite history by portraying him as a modern day hero that was loved and adored by all who met him?

I think they are going to make him look like a good guy and make Bush look evil and then get Hilary Clinton elected for Pres.

Trial is for stuff he did back in the 80's. Using chemical warefare on troops.

Among other stuff but I think thats the biggie.

Actually his first trial was pretty entertaining. And Milosevic's trial had some funny moments.

Both Saddam and Slobodan have denied the charges against them and accused our presidents ("Cleanton and Boosh") of the crimes.

This trial could last years!

    Pay per View anyone?

All they need to do is get sponsors. They could show Saddam putting on Right Guard every morning and downing a SlimFast every few hours.
