I just saw a thread in the content creation section where the title actually says they are rewriting content from e-How. Hello? I can't believe that people would actually have the nerve to advertise that they are content thieves as if there is nothing wrong with it. Tina
People will do absolutely everything and anything to make a buck; that's why I am so skeptical about hiring someone to write content for me. I am looking for a writer in Travel niche; and so far, purchase that I made few weeks ago, was disappointing. No reading flow, grammar was bad -- I can assume that something like this has been auto-generated using a content rewrite program. Anyways, just gotta be careful who you hire for content writing, I guess. Sel
You do have to be careful, I'll agree. I was looking for a few writers to expand my team recently and it was a crapshoot in the content creation section. I specified native English (or so fluent that I wouldn't be able to tell) and had several writers out right lie to me and say they were US writers. It was very clear by their test articles that they were not. You can usually tell by syntax and just how the article flows, you know? Much of it does depend on what you are willing to pay, as well. Really skilled writers are not going to sell their work for peanuts - or at least, not once word gets around. Tina
Read a couple of books that tell folks to go to article sites and rewrite those articles...... Don't see that as ethical and real close to stealing..... It's one thing to buy content with a license to rewrite.....but taking some one else s work is just plain wrong...
More and more the content creation section is turning into a crapshoot--and that's from a selling perspective as well! I've posted ads in there and had plenty of people tell me "nobody will evr pay dat much 4 u" and "y would i pay 4 that when imma good riter 2?" As has been said here many times before, the best way to find work (and workers) is to pay attention to the conversations being had on the boards and approach people directly. Or, you know like this: I'm a reliable writer with samples and obviously I'm a native English speaker since I was born and raised in the US (though the level of English here is debatable at times!) and I'd be happy to write for anyone who wants to approach me with reasonable offers. Hint: 100 articles @ $1 per article due in 24 hours? Is not reasonable. You might also consider doing your own writing with a partner who can check you for spelling and grammar or hiring someone to proofread/edit your work until you feel comfortable doing that for yourself.
Rewriting & copypasting are both illegal (at least in the US) and both degrade content on the internet. Unfortunately, it seems like the majority of people on the internet don't realize you can't just take someone else's work and claim that it's yours.
Folks ...let me brighten your day....I have been around a lot of years...have seen these "great" ideas come and go .... The cream rises to the top....stick around a while... the crap will be flushed down the drain.....
It amazes me (or at least, it used to) how many people offer content writing services whilst their adverts are full of errors, and the English just sounds really clunky. I don't know whether they don't realise how bad their writing is, or just don't care. Either way, it devalues the perception of the service quality content writers offer, and creates a downward expectation of what we should be charging.
See, its a matter of doing things JUST to pass copyscape, copyscape seems to have replaced morality. If it passes copyscape, then people are totally fine. See, when I write my articles; I look at multipled sources and educate myself on the topic, and with the research provided try to write something interesting, that flows nicely and is correct. But most, just again try to write to pass copyscape. Just my two cents.
It's funny how much you learn when researching for articles. I can talk about some of the most unlikely and obscure topics now.
If you haven't yet, use the report post button and a mod will eventually get to it. Blatant copyright infringement is not allowed here for obvious reasons.
if e-how allows it, then it's okay, but I don't think so. People are stupid and will do anything to get few $$
