    There are many sad old songs that I like to listen to, most of the songs associated with the old Indian films, especially films, starring SRK, like the movie veer-zaraa or kalho na ho.

    Cheerful music is certainly the way to go when one is sad. The idea is to change your mood and make you positive. Our ability to appreciate music is truly a blessing from God. Even when people cannot speak the same language, they can listen to the same music--especially if its instrumentals only--and they can have a similar appreciation for it.
