I just spoke to my mom and she seems upbeat. She had surgery on her knee and it went well. She will be in the hospital for a few weeks with a broken pelvis, collar bone and leg. She also received numerous stiches to her head.

The thing that fell on her and the other lady was an iron security screen door weighing over 500kg and she was trapped under it for about 1/2 hour before they could get it off.

All in all it looks good for my mom, but the other lady, from what little my mom knows, sustained multiple fractures of her spine and is not doing so well.

Thanks again, and I also wish the other lady a full recovery.

Good to hear that your Mom is doing a little better, but i do feel miserable for the other lady, spine injuries are very hard to recover.
