    I too think he should retire now as he already got everything.
    Its better to retire at the top rather than losing form and retiring by going way down.

    No i dont suggest to retire to sachin he is all form great player but after 1 -2 years will be retiring from one day .....this is my suggetion.

    No, He looks in great touch when he is playing but his ways of getting out are ridiculous. He will figure something out about this and score 100th hundred and he'll get runs!

    He has to get to 100 before retiring surely? Problem is, if he stays stuck on 99 for much longer, how long do the selectors keep picking him. Did I see that he got a few runs in the recent series, even if he didn't get a century? If so, and his average stays fairly high, then I guess he can keep going for a while in search of the elusive 100th.

    I think that Sachin must have to prove himself otherwise left the place for younger. He played much more cricket in his career. But now its time for another players. If he can make run then no matter to retire.

    lol this thread reads like "Schumacher should retire"

    I'm not huge on cricket but have watched a few youtube videos of him and was very impressed.

    Edit: I'm not huge on cricket because it's not very popular here and no one explained the rules. When I finally looked it up myself, it seems like gentlemanly baseball.
