Hello all, THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE FOR ANSWERING THESE QUESTIONS. This site is not completely done, there will be a preloader for the flash movie, and a few of the links don't work yet. If you would, please answer the following questions. 1. Roughly how fast did the site load? was it a few seconds or did it take forever? 2. Did you know what you should click on, or did you have to wait until the links flashed on the screen? 3. While the website was zooming into different areas, would you say it was rather smooth, or did it feel choppy like it was "lagging" or something 4. In the services room, did you have any problems. 5. In the portfolio room, was it easy to see how to navigate to the different pages, or did it take a minute to figure out how? And then whatever else you want to tell me about the look and fell? Did you like the design? http://www.5twelvedesign.com/test.html
It took about 10 seconds for the page to load, I'm using broadband. I wasn't sure what to click on because when I hover my mouse over the boxes the little hand doesn't show like it's a link. Overall, you site is pretty cool and interesting, but I have no clue what it is for.
Took less than a second for the site to load (Sorry, I have blazing fast internet so this won't be any of use to you) Zoom in is fine. Easy to figure out. No problems. Great design and coding! And yes, review section is here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=23
it took around 30 secs to load for me on 2mbit dsl, so too long in my opinion. zoom worked fine, it has a pause in the middle that confused me, there is no way to get back to home page from services (at least I couldn't find it), portfolio was easily navigated
Only took me about 4seconds to load on a cable connection. It's a great site and the flash was quite smooth. The interface is obviously different and took me a few instances to comprehend but very clever in your implementation.
did you read the services page? It's all in there, but perhaps I should make it more clear on the main page. Also, to go back from the services room, the blinking light comes back on, which you click to turn the tv back off and it zooms out. Thanks for the info, maybe i'll add a tooltip or something to make it more obvious. And my apologies to the mods for posting in the wrong section.
