    I believe it's now 10-6 to Europe going into the last day's singles matches. Europe therefore only need 4 points to retain the trophy out of the 12 to be played today. Can't see them giving that lead up, unless USA do something superhuman.

    He played about as well as I could and didn't look interested in the matches at all on the first couple of days. An absolute disgrace. The producers were probably sparing him further embaresment.
