Russian warships dock at Syria's port of Tartus

hmm, is this a step to show that the Libyan story wont happen in Syria?

 

Russia is making this move to assert itself into todays fast moving geopolitics.Really this moving of the pieces on the political chessboard has nothing to do with Syria and has more to do with Iran.
Russia considers Iran to be a major trading partner and is nervous about the noises coming out of Tel Aviv and Washington.They are simply attempting to remind other chessplayers that they are indeed in the game.

 

Despite the START disarmament talks even before the breakup of the USSR, still Russia and Ukraine have at present huge stockpiles of nuke warheads they can use in case their own view of politics should warrant it..

 

Hmm always like a cold war between USSR and America......

 

I'd say Russia is just upping the Ante..

 

I didnt see this in western news agencies, only China and Israel published it. I think US is confused whom to choose between Iran and Syria.

 

With so much stuffs happening in hollywood and US politics, is easy to miss few bits from rest of the world.. No biggie!!
