    I thought Kasparov was a known communist for a long time, wasn't he? He's been active along those lines for quite a few years - I think only recently has the movement turned to oust Putin and revert to the good ole days.

    I know Bobby Fischer is much of the same line, and he also advocated jewish extermination a few years back. I think he's currently a fugitive for passport violations.

    No, that was Karpov.
    Kasparov wasn't liked by Russian establishment even back in 1980's , at least according to his autobiography
