The bodies of civilians killed by Soviet partisans have been laid out on the grass in the village of Seitajärvi in Finnish Lapland. Discussion of the mass murders of Finnish civilians has been largely off-limits. During the war itself, the authorities even went so far as to order those who knew of the cross-border attacks on Finnish villages to keep their silence.

After 50 years a UK author has enabled countless women to admit their ordeal at the hands of Soviet troops.

Antony Beevor in his book uses previously unpublished material from Russian archives in Moscow to describe vividly the horrific suffering of an estimated two million German women and girls who were gang-raped by drunken Soviet soldiers.

The victims - considered by the Russians, Beevor says, to be 'casual rights of conquest' in return for crimes committed by the Wehrmacht in Russia - were as young as 12 and as old as 80 or more.

Most C students can actually spell "croocks" correctly.

What were you? A "D" student?

my misspelling of "crooks" won't affect the lives of hundreds of millions of people. This again shows that you just want to talk whatever may come to your mind without really caring how to solve the really big issues now the US is facing. Not that you will solve them (you are not really sure in the first place what is right and what is wrong to begin with), but at least you will be able to cast your vote for the better person.
Anyway live your life as you like and good luck to you.

bogart, how come you dedicate so much time and efforts to show how bad the Soviets were and the Russians are now (provided most of the statements you make are greatly exaggerated), but you never said a single thing about the war crimes US is committing right now?
Or the crimes the US admin and the US soldiers commit now maybe for you are not really crimes, but good deeds?

Actually I don't dedicate a lot of time nor effort to provide people with some facts concerning the actions of Russia and the Soviet Union. Russia and the Soviet Union have a very bad history and it takes at most 1 minute to document the evil. As Ronald Reagan said, the Soviet Union is the evil empire. Russians need to look at themselves.

I have some good revenue streams right now that are generating me 20k a month. Anwering your threads generates me $0.01 a day with dp revenue sharing.

I think someone needs to look at themselves in the mirror and get a real life. ;)

"When people and military systems are used to kill Russian soldiers, it's a crime," Mr. Putin said. The rest of the world thinks the Ukrainians soldiers should receive the medal of honor.

And where does Russia stays and never leaves ?

Oh, man. Can you stop now? Otherwise I will post what was happening during slavery in AMERICA, when black people were under control by YANKS.

Hahaha, only a person across the ocean could say this :D

Most ppl in Eastern Europe are trying to get into NATO because they want an EU memberhip, not because they are scared of someone.

You try to say that they will not be members of EU and we'll see what happens with your so called NATO ;)

Basically these countries arent in a great condition economically/financially, not because they are scared of someone.

P.S: As for drinking, Russia was always drinking, and in ww2, that didnt bother us, you know in ww2 winter conditions a russian person would survive by any means, even drinking in Siberia))) Guess for how long would an american be alive in the same conditions.

If georgians were to shoot american soldiers, USA would not burn the villages but drop a bomb to burn the whole Georgia ;)

Yes they have a huge problem with drunks running Russia. That's why they lost the cold world.

7 terrorist Russian Soldiers were killed in an explosion in Georgia's breakaway region of South Ossetia. Georgia secret services planted a bomb and detonated it while it was being searched. Georgia was remorseful that 4 civilians were killed. The civilian were not the intended target just the soldiers were.

It's unfortunate that civilians got killed.

The equipment belonged to the US and was being shipped back to the US after joint excercises between Georgia and US forces before the conflict. The equipment was in containers in Poti ready to be shipped where the containers were stolen by drunken Russian soilders.

Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James T. Conway said, "I think we're going to send the Russians a bill and tell them, you know, either pay up or give us back our vehicles, guys. You know, that's not the way we do business."

are you all in dreamland? Who said Russia returned the weapons? Half of them are already burnt, the other half is in Russia. Thats why our troops stayed so long in Poti, not for returning it to US/Georgia but to transfer it to Russia. Here you go dreamy comrades:

    During conflict Russia captured:
65 tanks (20 were destroyed later as old/broken)
    5 anti-aircraft systems "Osa"
    15 BMP-2s
    D-30 howitzers
    Czeh howitzers
    American APCs

    764 M-16s
    28 MGs M-40
    754 AKs
