They are there just to deliver aid and nothing more.

The US doesn't dream of attacking Russia. They even made it clear when Russia invaded Georgia.

They went there to deliver blankets and toilet paper with instructions how to use it. The US and Israel trained Georgian army perforemed excellent against the civilians in S. Ossetia. But when the Russian army entered the conflict they run out of toilet paper quickly.
And the mighty Butch (who helped them get in that sh.tty situation) got very worried about the smell that was coming from their a$$e$ and decided to send the much needed help.

BTW I don't think anybody is taking anywhere in the world homebiz posts and threats seriously since most of them are a joke. The US generals are well aware all they can do is just show some war ships tough talk and that's it, but they will never risk losing them in an idiotic conflict with Russia.

Russia to create electromagnetic super weapon

The new device can be used practically anywhere. The invention will let specialists create radar telescopes and radars of new generation. Missile troops and defense departments on the whole will most likely be the first customers to order the appliance. The new generators can also be used to check the stability of large energy objects and systems. The device is capable of imitating the strays which appear as a result of a lightning strike or even a nuclear blast.

It is impossible to take photographs or film a video of the new generator in action because it immediately puts all electronic devices out of order.

The research that was used for the creation of such a device can be applied in the development of electromagnetic weapons.

“No one has ever studied biological effects of such impulses. It is obvious that it affects the electronic equipment near it. Computers or cell phones have to be screened from such radiation,” Mikhail Yalandin, a senior specialist of the Institute of Electrophysics said.

 

Russia told us not to enter the the Blacksea and we did and docked where they told us not to. Do you actually think that Russia would have the balls to dock where we told them not to? They would not 40 years ago and they will not now. 3 US warships and 2 subs in the black sea and a carrier fleet just off the black sea was enough to get Russian security forces running scared from the dock. We docked and they left. That is a lot of brave Russian soldiers.

The US Navay is the strongest in the world. The US is the only country in the world that has an open seas fleet.

BTW what makes you think, that the Russians won't send soon their subs in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans 20 miles from the US beaches and their strategic bombers to Cuba?

Russia and USA can't afford to fight directly. They are both strong and can severely hurt each other, leaving them both weak and causing massive problems and protests in both countries. Maybe the countries could protest and detest each others actions and take indirect action, but never direct confrontation.

War isn't all love and fun for the populace. War costs and where does the money come from ? War makes prices go up. And who does it hurt? Does the ego satisfaction of "My country defeated the other country" alleviate the suffering, loss of friends and family, tougher and more stressful living conditions, rising prices and so on that a big war brings?

I don't think either Russia or USA thinks it wise to war directly with the other, regardless of what others may feel.

Even the foreign ministry was afraid and not talking tough. Rice is much tougher than her Russian counterpart.

Reverse the situation. If Russia tried to dock off Afghanistan and unload arms the ship would have been destroyed.

1. I read an article this morning on yahoo, that the Georgians complained that the Russians have enforced the check points at Poti. No body was running away. It is only your bully immature imagination that sees scared Russians.

The US has six fleets all with carriers and every type of ship imaginable. The US also has hundreds of ships in strategic reserve docked thoughout the US. We also can replace any loses with new ships.

Seems like Russia wants to fight another one. But this time the Russians are a lot weaker. They no longer control Eastern Europe and the Soviet Republics. The Warsaw Pact is defunct and NATO is as strong as ever.

 

But the weak Russian Navy wasn't laughing as they left the Black Sea for open seas. Reverse the situation off any coast in the world. We would stand Our Ground just ask China about situations off of their coast.

We won the cold war and Russia still has not regained their prowess. The equipment other than the subs are outdated. I am amazed at the number of subs sitting above the water not maintained. All that knowledge just wasted.
