Running your own server or buying one somewhere else?

    Which one would you prefer to do? Or which one is the most affordable?
    Do you think running one on your own and getting a good connection line:D is the way to go or just get a server with one of those big hosting companies?

    Buy it from a company if you are inexperienced in web server maintenance and administration.

    I use a dedicated server it is more expensive but far more reliable

    Think of it this way

    Buying one:
    $100 per month in the range for everything managed

    Running one:
    Internet Cost, Electricity Bills, Energy Tax for the server, Running Costs, Hardware Cost, Management Cost, Driver/OS/Software Cost,etc....

    Better have your sites hosted by some of the reputed hosting companies, if you are a noob in the server administration
