Running native windows applications on solaris (specially games)

    In several opportunities I have tried to run some important/interesting Windows applications on my solaris box with no luck.

    It is indeed a shame that I haven't been able to play my favorite games on Solaris either. I have installed wine and tried to install the apps on it, but they just don't work.

    The idea behind Wine is that it emulates a Windows environment so that you can install Microsoft apps.. :(

    I have heard several developers who have made work games such as World of Warcraft in Linux machines through wine, however, nothing about wine on solaris is seen!. Has anybody tried wine successfully on solaris?

    Wine is pretty good I belive you will be good to go with it, lots of games can be installed using Wine even WOW thats good.
