Most people talking about Thailand are sharing their great experiences. Hopefully I can visit Thailand this summer for a vacation.
There's nothing one foreigner can do about the politics anyways, so I don't really care. And corruption is never a problem when you're the one benefiting from it, right?
Hi Anton, I'm French and I'm also working on internet and been in Thailand since 2 years now. I'm currently living in Thailand in Hua Hin and I will move next month to Chiang Mai. Can you tell me a little bit more about your condo : size, location and how you found it cause it looks really great but I can not find something in same price range from website. Thnaks for help, and hope to see you before you leave Chiang Mai
Good for you, you can combine business with sightseeing. Thailand is one of the most interesting countries to live and work.
Nice! I don't know how big it is but it's a big studio on the 11th floor of a high rise with a huge balcony overlooking the city and the mountains. I have a full kitchen, queen size bed, couch, loveseat, and 42'' plasma in there. Everything is modern an less than a year old.. I actually got really lucky with it. A guy who works at the same coworking space as I do bought the place with his wife and renovated it, then she got pregnant so they bought a house and now I'm renting the condo from him. I should still be here when you get here. As of right now my plan is to stay until early October then do some more traveling. - Anton
That's awesome and i'm glad you are loving the Thai life style. I've been living in Thailand for just over 3 years, I'm currently in the South, on Koh Samui... Let me know if you ever come down this way and could go for a couple Chang's...
Hey OP, Good to hear you doing really good, I have been wanting to backpack to Thailand. But I am more interested in going where you Thailand exotic cars. Would like to take some good pictures and research around how the car industry is doing over there. Other than that would also like to spend some vacation, I wonder how much money would it required to go spend 2 weeks. Also what city or what area is known to find exotic cars.
haha nice! I was down on Koh Samui about 2 months ago. I think I'm going to hit the islands again before leaving this part of the world so I'll let you know. Nothing to be jealous about, just get out here if you want to live this type of lifestyle!
Thailand is a great place to live. I spend a significant amount of time in the philippines and love it!!
Hi Akraly, I also live in Thailand (Pattaya) and work as a Lawyer. However, I also have a website for a gaming site in the UK and now looking to make more websites with blogging. I also want to have a drop shipping site and wonder have you got details of good drop shippers who can be trusted? thanks.
Welcome to the Philippines...to my country. I am sure you can find all the same thing here and even more...we have professionals all willing to do any online job for you.
thailand now is so expensive. if u not have 1500 usd per month, u cannot do nothing. visa run are expensive health are expensive all for farangs are expensive. better philipphines or kenya or magadascar.
I honestly don't think that there are that many good drop ship directory sites... most are middle men suppliers and you can not make good margins by reselling the products. My advice is to find brands (manufacturers) in your niche and contact them directly.
Thanks for that AKraly, though I thought that you mentioned earlier that you were drop shipping yourself? Pehaps you mean that you have contacted manufaturers direct as you suggest?
That's not true. I was in Thailand just a few months ago. Had a private apartment in central Chiang Mai for under $400 per month, and amazing food for about $2 per plate. I could survive very comfortably for under $1000 per month.
Hi Anton , wow your place in Chiang Mai sounds AWESOME! I'd love to see pics or know more info about it if you have the chance. I am here in BKK most of the time, and I pay much much higher for everything than what you listed (I love the fact your place has sauna, steam, gym, 2 pools, etc) If you have time please pm me I would love to talk. Are you still in Thailand btw?
I'm planing in moving to the Philippines, any experiences? My concerns are internet connection and crime!
