Running Multiple Blogs

What do you think is best? Running one personal blog centered around a couple similar things? Or having separate blogs for each of these couple things that could be merged, but can also be run independently?

Obviously, the updates would occur more with the one blog having couple similar topics going on.

    Thanks!

I chose to make multiple blogs, because my readers for each topic are separate groups of people.

I do it that way, the niches I'm in are not related. But I guess if you had to build a news website then every topic could mix, a shopping blog too.

Really depends on how much time you have and what your intentions are.

-If you want to make money, seperate blogs are the way to go but the drawback is it will eat up more of your time.
-If it is just a personal blog, then keep it simple and run a single site.

Merge all of them. More traffic, good ranks, easy for promotion.

some bloggers go for quality instead of quantity. the decision is yours. quantity or quality?

If they're all related, then I see no reason why not to merge them. However, if you think each one will have a separate audience, then stick with separate blogs.

I would gauge it on how much time i had to devote to a number of blogs. If you have the time to set up each of these bloggs then go for it, but if not the blogs may suffer as the content might be as good as it owuld be if you had more time to devote to each one.

Hm... Well, I currently run a making money online blog, but as I have been a blogger for a few years now at different sites, I'm also thinking of personal, gizmo, sports, and blogging blogs. Think that these will go together well at all?

I know gizmo and sports will have to be separate, but making money online blog, blogging, and personal seems like it could possibly go together.

    Thanks once again.

It could if you brand it as more of a personal blog, but if it's focus has always been solely making money you might want to take the personal stuff out.

Running multiple blogs is much better, if you can manage them all well!
