    Hey everyone,

Im thinking of setting up an affilitate system for my hosting company.

Was just wondering what people think is the best way of doing this. should i pay out one off per sale?....% per month? give them the option?

Aldo does anyone know of any decent free scripts id be able to easily intergrate with clientexec?

thanks in advance for your time.

I don't know of any free scripts but you may want to try http://hotscripts.com. I think allowing residual income would attract the more serious affiliates. I was with a hosting company as an affiliate and I was happy to accept a flat rate though. They gave me the option of a flat rate or 3 months free hosting on my account for each person I referred.

You might even want to start out with a flat rate and then after so many sales, maybe two or three, an affiliate's status is upgraded to receiving percentage for the life of the account. This way you can new affliates to be more active in selling your services.

    what i was thinking was:

Free plan - $0 initial payout, then monthly payouts as below if the customer upgrades.
$10 plan - $5 initial payout then 20% per month for as long as they stay.
$20 plan - $10 inital payout then 20% per month for as long as they stay.
$30 plan - $15 payout then then 20% per month for as long as they stay.

% Payout per month rising to 25% when they have more than 25 active referals.

    What do you think?

    Sounds a pretty decent system.
Are those prices per month? Id prefer to have it a bit cheaper and forget the affiliate system imo.

Yes they are per month, but we do not oversell server space or bandwidth, We offer high quality hosting, were not targeting people who are looking for the cheapest deals possible :)
