Alrighty. Well basically, I have bought a plan with HostGator. I am trying to run a site similar to: http://www.bestjays.com/sorthtml.asp?sort_id=52 What is my next step to getting my site going? What else do I need to buy?
You will need a good domain name that reflect your website content/subject or somethig that sound good dont use "-" like my-shop-shoes.com if you already have you domain and hosting space make sure your domain point to your hosting (DNS etc ...) After what you will need a Webshop Script with paypal cashout option I think you can find free if you search with google but maybe it worth to spend few buck on the script. You'll also need a design or banner.
This is another example of a similar script to BANS - Build A Niche Store. You'll get as many conversions (ie. people using your site to buy from retailers) as I will find winning lottery tickets blowing along the street. Further to that, you won't want anything like that site has, it's so slow that I almost fell asleep waiting for pages to load.
