Running A Press Release

I am thinking of actually running press releases on our own site using ones that have been issued in regards to the automotive industry.

Is that a good thing to do or does it cause issues with duplicate content running on the site?

I reran an article from another site with permission and it has caused quite a few hits as a result - so want to add more with press releases.

    Thanks in advance.

You may want to consider posting a snippet of the article and link to the original.

Most probably it will being marked as duplicated unless you add much more content to the page to avoid that.
