    Hello,

I am running a very popular fansite for a video game and wondered what sort of things I need to put in the footer about copyright and such.

For example my images are simply theirs that I am hosting.

Do I need to put the developers and publishers of the game in my footer?

Here is my fansite - Huxley Fansite
    Developers Website - Webzen

I really have no clue what I need to do to make sure am not breaking any laws so any advice would be much appreciated thanks!

You need something in the footer stating that you are not related in any way to Webzen and that you are a fan site.

As for the images, you need permission from the owners to use them. However, many websites such as yours get away without it. I wouldn't worry about them unless the image creators ask you to take them down. But if you want to play it safe, email Webzen and ask if you can use their images. However, be prepared for a big fat no.

Something like this should be sufficient

This fan site is in no way affiliated with Webzen.
Huxley is registered trademark of Webzen
