Has anybody ever ran a contest on their site where they give each nominee a profile page and the one that gets the most g+ of fb likes wins? How did it go? How did you track the face book likes?
I don't really see this working, due to the amount of coordination and effort required for individual participants, though it's worth mentioning that Namecheap.com and some others run "contests" (of a sort) based on their Twitter or Facebook profiles (they are based on 'unlocking' a particular deal if a certain number followers/likes are gained).
