Run your own Digg like site using Pligg

The loading times of pligg based sites is certainly in need of optimisation

Guys, I have a question(may in wrong thread) but can I enable voting anonymously ? I mean the person don't have to register. Ofcourse it is ncessary and required that a person can only vote once on any story to keep the system sane

 

I've got pligg set up and I'm running BETA 9... With the adsense revenue sharing mod - Pligg Rocks.

I'm starting to explore the CSS and template files, Plig is powerful, but it does require some PHP skill if you want to make changes and add-on functionality. The core product does advance quickly and updates are released every few weeks/months.

 

Yes, Anonymous voting can be turned on, and you can vote once on articles. Pligg also allows you to decide how many votes an item needs to make the front page, you can set that to 5 or 10 or 50 votes, as your site becomes more popular.
